Guten Tag!
I haven't been able to write for a while, so I thought I'd finally fill you in on my final trip of my euro-adventure, Vienna! I had a great time thanks to my awesome friend Kathi, who was an exchange student from my high school.
So here are my five favorites from Vienna!
We went here one night and got to check out the Christmas Market that was in front of the palace. Vienna is known for its many Christmas Markets, full of delicious foods and unique gifts. This one was one of the coolest places that we visited!

2. Skating at Vienna Christmas Dream
We had a blast ice skating and exploring the market in front of Vienna's City Hall. We also got to drink some delicious punsch which is warm, alcoholic fruit punch with different fruit floating in it. After the Christmas season, the whole area where the market is opens up into an ice rink, but for now only a smaller section is open for skating.

3. Naschmarkt
This flea market was so fun! There was a lot of middle eastern food and really cool antiques and knick knacks to check out. I loved tasting all of the samples!

This restaurant was super cool! You order your food from an iPad, and the food is delivered to your table through a series of winding tracks. The kitchen puts a code on your food and it's scanned by a robot that puts in on the right track to get to your table. I definitely recommend checking it out!
This funky building was created by the famous Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. Across from the building is Hundertwasser village, which has some cool shops to check out, as well as a pretty indoor garden.

Those were the highlights of my trip! And of course being able to spend time with a friend I hadn't seen in so long was the best part! (Thanks Kathi!!)
I'm sad my time traveling every weekend is coming to an end, (for now) but I'm excited to spend these next few weeks enjoying my city!
XOXO,
Abigail Marie
