I'm so sorry I've been MIA lately, coming home from abroad was quite the adjustment and I was really busy with work, the holidays and getting ready to move myself in at school. It flew by! My time in Spain was absolutely incredible and was sad to see it end, but I'm happy to get back into a routine. More about Madrid to come though, so stay tuned!
I moved in to school last Monday, and have been settling into classes ever since. I'm really excited about the courses I'm taking this semester! I'm really delving into my major, as well as taking some fun classes, like Oceanography. I'm a big nerd for the ocean!
My goal for this semester, along with doing well in all of my classes, is to stay up to date and on schedule with my blog! I will be trying to be consistent with two posts a week, give or take a few every once and a while. I have a lot of fun things planned ahead, and am excited to share them with all of you.
Another goal I have set for myself this semester is to manage my time better, and learn when to say no. Last spring, I was overwhelmed and stressed out with too many responsibilities I had tied myself to. I've kind of learned my limit in what I can take on, and I'm grateful that I was able to realize that at such a young age. I know a lot of people that have rushed through life without truly enjoying the little moments. There is nothing more important than taking care of yourself!
I also plan on being really on top of organizing my agenda, and staying on top of assignments. Last year I made a post about How I Stay Organized, so be sure to check it out!
I'm also excited to be visiting my parents in Florida a few times this semester, so I'm sure there will be some posts about that as well.
It should be a great semester, I'm looking forward to trying new things, and going on new adventures. I hope you'll be along for the ride!
