A Year of C'est La Vie

February 4, 2017

Hi there!

Today's a pretty special day as my blog is one year old! It's hard to believe that I've officially spent a whole year helping C'est La Vie by Abigail Marie grow and change. I'm so proud of how far C'est La Vie has come, reaching a few thousand people and being able to share my favorite moments with my family, friends and everyone in between.

While I am far from reaching my goals, I have become a much better writer, learned many web design skills (thanks to my major and to playing around with WIX), and learned what a great tool social media can be for helping your business grow.

I've developed great partnerships, helped one of my best friends launch her own blog (Hey kment!), and found my voice in my writing.

My own fashion has evolved over the past year thanks to having my first job in the industry. I've explored 12 new countries, learning about different cultures, making new friends and rekindling old friendships. Most importantly, I've watched my family move across the country, which has required me to become even more independent and appreciate those little family moments even more.

I'm grateful for the confidence that C'est La Vie has given me, and the opportunities it has allowed me so far. I can't wait to keep watching it grow and change with each year forward.

I wouldn't have been able to do any of it without all of you, my readers! I am so lucky to have so many supportive people in my life, and I can't thank you all enough.

With that being said, I have some goals for C'est La Vie for the year to come:

1. Grow by 3,000 followers/readers

2. Have a more consistent blog schedule and routine

3. Develop my SEO

4. Connect with 10 new partners

5. Start a new page!

6. Update imagery on the site every month

Hopefully I'll be able to do much more than just this, but this is a great jump start to what I hope will be a great year.

Thanks for helping me do what I love!

XOXO,

Abigail Marie
